iTunes 4.9
でるぞ、でるぞと言われていたiTunes4.9が、ほぼ予想通りにリリース。Podcastに対応したのが目玉かな。'Pod'castって言うくらいだからiPodなくして生まれなかったものなんだろうけど、何よりも個人が発信する情報の形として、感心せざるをえない。Thunderbird（メールソフト）も次期バージョンで対応するって話だし、なんかスゴいね。実は言葉は知っていたんだけど「仕組み」も「誰でも始められる」ってことも詳しく理解していなかったんだけどね。今回のアップデートでちょっと調べてみたばかりの知識なんだけどね。とりあえず自分が発信者になることはナイと思うけど、Podcastからビジネスモデルも生まれそうだし、興味津々であることは確か。とりあえずいろいろ登録してみようかと。
同時に発表されたiPodとiPodPhotoの統合も予想通り。まぁカラー化は当然の流れだからね。それにしても初代iPodからの進化と低価格化は歓迎することなんだけど、ちょっと悲しかったりもするな。
